I read somewhere that the early colts cobra variants with the exposed ejector are pretty collectible these days. I don't really know what such a gun is worth, but I'm thinking it could be between like $500 and $600, as it is a first production gun that is basically just a variant of the famous cobra, and produced in the early 60s, so definitely quality. (It had a box of federal american eagle with it and there was a price sticker on it that said $11.99. I've just shot 50 rounds through it since I acquired it. Other than that it's in pretty good shape. There's a bit of discoloration on the silver colt logo and on the hammer. The rifling is super crisp, the checkered grip is a bit worn but still has a nice pattern, and I checked the lock up and timing and it's all good. It's definitely used, and looks like it was carried by someone for some years, but hasn't been shot a whole lot. It was sitting in my wife's grandpa's drawer in a sock for the past 40(?) years. ![]() I recently came into possession of a beautiful Colt Agent 38 special. ![]()
